Heartsaver First Aid CPR and AED is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage a first aid, choking, or sudden cardiac arrest emergency in the first few minutes until EMS arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock and other first aid emergencies. This course also teaches adult, child and infant AED use.

Certification: 2-Year American Heart Association Certification card will be given upon completion of class.

This course teaches adult, child and infant (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) use, as well as First aid (FA) skill how to relieve chocking in an adult, child, or infant. This course teaches skills with the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills.

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child in the first few minutes until professional medical attention arrives.
